Prosys Fill LLC is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our After-Sales Department. This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and customer service, ensuring our clients receive maximum value from their equipment and solutions after purchase. The Sales Engineer will focus on strengthening customer relationships, identifying opportunities for upgrades, spare parts, maintenance, and service contracts, while providing technical guidance to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.

This position will be based in Webb City, Missouri and relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate. We are a leading manufacturer of viscous liquid filling systems and turnkey packaging lines serving markets in North America as well as international markets.

Type of Position:
Full Time (not remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate after-sales solutions such as spare parts, consumables, upgrades, retrofits, service packages, and maintenance contracts.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Track service performance, customer feedback, and usage patterns to identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Project Managers, and Operations to relay customer insights for product improvement.
  • Conduct technical presentations and training for customers to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to support strategic after-sales growth.
  • Meet or exceed after-sales revenue and customer satisfaction targets.

Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of 3D computer aided design (CAD) software, Solid Works a plus
  • Strong understanding of controls and automation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and translate technical solutions into customer value.
  • Focused and creative thinker with Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize and manage your time
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet job requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Proven experience in technical sales, after-sales service, or field engineering (equipment, machinery, or industrial solutions preferred).
  • Ability to travel as needed to customer sites. This position will require a fairly extensive amount of travel.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) or equivalent technical background.

Compensation: Salary Position – Starting pay will be commensurate with experience and skill sets.
