OverviewIn this role, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver top-notch patient care while maintaining professional accountability. You’ll coordinate with various departments, ensuring that patient rights and confidentiality are upheld at all times. Your contributions will align with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
- Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
- Experience: Relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit needs, including ACLS, NRP, ENPC, and more.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
