RN Manager - Surgery - Full-time

Location: Webster City, IA

Required Qualifications:

• BSN Degree or Baccalaureate in a related field.
• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Five years of experience in the field of nursing with at least two of those years in OR.
• Supervisory, leadership, and management skills.

Job Description:

• Oversee daily operations of the Surgical Department and manage the nursing staff.
• Ensure efficient, effective utilization of human, financial, and material resources.
• Assist with the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets.
• Monitor supplies and maintain proper inventory control.
• Complete staff performance reviews.
• Prepare and approve departmental time records.
• Assist in the development of departmental strategic plans.
• Coordinate department-specific tasks and patient care within the department.
• Act as a coach, mentor, and resource to staff and manage daily staffing changes.
