Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) - Webster City, IA 50595 Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organizational and time‑management skills, establish and maintain retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark as the face of the brand. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and inventory levels, support seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally work with other products in the stores you service.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

• Pay $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Eligible for annual pay increases.
• Part‑time position with a variable weekly schedule.
• Average weekly hours 4–8.
• Must be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.

Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory both inside and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
• Holiday support:
  Provide additional hours during seasonal peaks such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on the actual holiday and on weekend days.
• Department resets:
  Assist with installations, relocations of card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Receive notification two weeks in advance; may require evening or weekend work.
• Team collaboration:
  Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization network, offering support to teammates as needed.

Physical Requirements

The role requires frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must consistently kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Proficient reading, writing, and understanding of English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital handheld device for reading documentation.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
