- Produce training materials and lead ongoing beverage classes and tastings for bartenders, servers, and managers.
- Act as Event Captain for bar service on high‑profile functions: coordinate timelines with culinary and service leads, run pre‑shift briefings, and remain present on the floor to guide the team.
- Supervise bar staff performance, ensuring service standards, professionalism, and product knowledge are upheld throughout every shift.
- Manage bar operations: ordering, receiving, inventory counts, and cost‑control reporting—hitting beverage COGS targets and preventing variance.

- Prepare post‑event bar reports detailing consumption, inventory needs, wins, and improvement opportunities for continuous program growth.
- Attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and Event Service teams to plan for successful execution.
- Deliver genuine hospitality to guests, vendors, and colleagues while directing all efforts toward guest satisfaction, brand standards, and revenue generation.
- Model and enforce O+O Core Values; hold yourself and others accountable to our culture.
- Work flexible hours—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—as event schedules require.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years progressive bartending experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or training role within a high‑volume, upscale setting.
- Expert knowledge of classic & modern cocktail technique, batching, draft cocktails, and low‑/no‑ABV offerings.
- Extensive wine proficiency—varietals, regions, pairing principles.
- Proven ability to develop educational content and lead engaging training sessions.
- Event‑management competence: creating timelines, staffing plans, floor‑plan comprehension, and polished guest relations.
- Financial acumen: recipe costing, inventory software (Bev Spot, COGS‑Well, or similar), and basic P&L understanding.
- Current Serv Safe Alcohol or Missouri SMART certification (or obtained within 30 days).
- Capacity to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with BEO software such as Triple Seat and POS systems like Toast.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Competitive Pay – Hourly rate based on experience.
- Flexible Scheduling – Evenings and weekends required, with potential for full‑time hours.
- Career Growth – Opportunities for advancement in a growing hospitality group.
- Team‑Oriented Culture – Work alongside hospitality professionals who are passionate about what they do.
- Exclusive Discounts – Enjoy perks at all O+O Hospitality Group locations.
- Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
- Employment type: Full-time
- Job function: Management and Manufacturing (Restaurants)
