Work with children in need and make a difference in their lives. Devereux is a nonprofit behavioral health agency that provides services to individuals with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive differences. The Webster House program serves co‑ed youth ages 4‑14 in a rapid reintegration care model with a 1:3 staff‑to‑student ratio. The main focus is to identify and treat safety/risk factors, barrier behaviors, and facilitate reintegration to family or appropriate placement in the shortest possible time.
Compensation& Schedule
The pay for this position starts at $20.50/hour and may increase to $23.87/hour depending on education and experience. The schedule is Double Sunday (7 AM‑11 PM) and Wednesday‑Friday (3 PM‑11 PM). Eligible candidates receive a $250 bonus if MAP Certified.
Responsibilities- Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
- Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision.
- Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
- Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement.
- Teach and assist with activities of daily living (ADL) and living skills.
- Document required progress notes and incident reports with adequate organizational and communication skills.
- Accrued sick time.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, behavioral disorders, or autism spectrum disorders preferred.
- Must be able to attend a 2‑week paid orientation (Monday to Friday, 8 AM‑4 PM) in Rutland, MA.
- Must be MAPS certified or obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
