We are hiring full-time and part-time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our dynamic care team at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster.
Sign‑on bonus
:
Up to $5,000 available.
Base pay: $42.00/hr – $49.00/hr
Shift openings include 7a‑3p, 3p‑11p, and 11p‑7a with weekly pay. Evenings, overnights, and weekends come with pay differentials. Shift schedule includes rotating weekends.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
- Maintain current resident care plans.
- Follow physician’s orders and render or assist with complete nursing care.
- Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately.
- Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
- Visit each resident daily to evaluate needs.
- Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list.
- Report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary.
- Administer medication according to procedure.
- Maintain accurate and safe control of all drugs for which you are responsible.
- Initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
- Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accordance with orientation and training procedures.
- Comply with facility privacy practices and protect residents’ health information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing or managerial team.
- A Nursing Degree from an accredited school or college.
- CPR certification.
- Current and active RN license in the state.
- Preferred:
Minimum one year in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or related setting (not required). - New graduates welcome!
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to make independent decisions as required.
- Effective communication skills with personnel, residents, families, and the public.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long‑term care.
- Leadership and supervisory ability; willingness to work collaboratively with professional and non‑professional staff.
- Organizational and programmatic planning skills.
- Accurate assessment skills.
- Familiarity with drug actions and interactions.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing rehabilitation policies.
- Patience, tact, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and the ability to handle difficult residents.
- Willingness to adopt new methods and principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively regarding emergencies.
