Registered Nurse, Adult Psychiatric Unit (Inpatient) – Per Diem, Various Shifts

Hiring range: $34.39 - $61.91 per hour
Schedule: One major summer holiday, one major winter holiday, Monday through Friday, weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Hours vary based on unit needs. Mixed 4‑hour shift, 8 hours per day.
Sign‑on bonus may be available. Eligibility confirmed during interview.
Responsibilities- Utilize the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
- Perform patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
- Develop and coordinate individual plans of care, including discharge planning.
- Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
- Delegate appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
- Document patient care according to standard procedure.
- Current Massachusetts licensure and registration.
- Completion of an accredited school of nursing program.
- BLS required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit‑specific certifications and competencies.
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing.
