Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a manufacturing organization in Webster, Texas on a long-term contract basis. This position focuses on keeping customer accounts current, supporting timely cash application, and helping maintain strong revenue cycle accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach to receivables, sound judgment in resolving account issues, and the ability to work across teams to strengthen collections performance and cash flow.

Responsibilities:

• Track open customer balances and take timely action on past-due accounts to encourage prompt payment
• Record incoming payments accurately and update account activity, including receipts and credit-related transactions
• Investigate invoice questions and work directly with customers to resolve payment and billing concerns
• Maintain organized receivables records and produce accurate aging information for account review
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to address collection challenges and improve working capital outcomes
• Assist in evaluating customer credit requests and support account risk and credit limit reviews
• Prepare reporting on collection activity and reconcile customer accounts to confirm balance accuracy
