Job Summary:

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking to recruit an interventional cardiologist to a very busy, solo interventional cardiology practice which is located in Southeast Houston/Clear Lake area.

The current interventional cardiologist is known for an approach to low-carb medicine, and sees patients from around the world. The volume has become more than what can be managed by one cardiologist. The current cardiologist has a ready made book of business for the incoming recruit.

About the Practice:

• Current cardiologist sees 40 patients per day, and over 200+ patients per week, including 15 - 20 PET scans, 10 carotid ultrasounds, 10 - 12 procedures in the cath lab, and 5 - 10 new consults.
• Cardiologist is on call for unassigned patients and interventional call.
• Practice has 2 experienced NP's who are very strong in terms of patient care and supporting the cardiologist.

Qualifications:

• Board eligible fellow, or board certified interventional cardiologist with ability to obtain and/or maintain an active/clear Texas medical license.
• Quality and ethics is a number 1 factor for consideration of recruitment to this practice.
• The cardiologist has to be strong and good in the cath lab.
• The incoming recruit must be willing to take cardiology call or maintain privileges at both HCA Mainland and HCA Clear Lake hospitals.
