Electrical Engineer – Battery Systems

Job summary: We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and optimize battery systems for cutting‑edge energy platforms. The ideal candidate has deep experience in lithium‑ion battery pack architecture, power electronics, and system integration gained at leading EV or battery technology companies.

• Lead electrical design of high‑performance battery packs and modules
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring harnesses for HV and LV systems
• Perform simulations, design validation, and failure analysis for reliability and safety
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and test teams on system integration
• Support prototype builds, system‑level testing, and troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation for UL, SAE, and military compliance

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5–7+ years of experience in EV, battery, or energy storage design (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, or similar strongly preferred)
• Expertise in BMS architecture, CAN communication, and HV safety
• Skilled in Altium, OrCAD, or comparable PCB design tools
• Hands‑on experience with battery testing and validation
