Kindred Hospital - Clear Lake is a long-term acute care hospital located at 350 Blossom Street in Webster, Texas. It’s designed for patients who need extended recovery time after intensive care, especially those with complex medical conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, or serious wounds.

• Advanced Critical Care:
  Offers both intensive and telemetry-level services, with capabilities for ventilator management, dialysis, and IV therapy.

  Focuses on medically complex patients, including those with multiple coexisting conditions like COPD, diabetes, or heart failure.
• Multidisciplinary Team:

• Certifications:
  
  Accredited by The Joint Commission for Long-Term Acute Care, with additional certifications in Respiratory Failure and Sepsis, reflecting a commitment to evidence-based care.

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function. Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient’s responses to the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.

• Associate’s degree required;
  Graduate of a Program in Discipline required.
• Physical Therapy Assistant in the State.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS).
