- Provide pain relief and improve quality of life with various therapy techniques.
- Support emotional and psychological well‑being by fostering a positive, encouraging environment.
- Empower patients to achieve goals and navigate challenges of their condition.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
- Conduct initial evaluations, identify primary impairments, and use outcome measures to create effective treatment plans.
- Provide therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, home evaluations, orthotic and assistive device recommendations, and therapeutic home programs. Engage patients in mobility and neurodevelopment exercises.
- Use modalities such as hot and cold packs, Omni stim, neuromuscular stimulation, and perform light and deep massage for pain relief.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, review and update programs through interim evaluations.
- Supervise clinic aides and students, providing guidance and instruction.
- Maintain accurate records and reports; consult with patients, families, insurance representatives, and interdisciplinary clinicians.
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.
- Membership in APTA desirable.
