We have an exciting PRN opportunity for a Registered Nurse Operating Room at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, a leading provider of health services.

• Apply aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Assist in procedures and prep patients for surgery.
• Determine which areas need prepping for different types of procedures.
• Assess the patient prior to surgery and ensure the patient understands the procedure.
• Confirm that a “timeout” is performed before any procedure with the perioperative team.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
• Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License with Texas licence requirement.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $ per year.
