Oncology RN

Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Health Care  Support is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with an Operating Room RN – Float in Houston, TX 77025. Daily Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology:

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skill of assessment, including assessing for chemotherapy toxicities, medication side effects, and overall well‑being.
• Reviews lab values and assesses for treatment toxicity prior to administering medication to patients.

Ensures patient is appropriate for prescribed infusion therapy and witnesses written consent if indicated.

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday

• 3 Month Temp to Perm (Planned Conversions)

• 5 years clinical RN experience (must have 2 years infusion, oncology, or related experience).
• Chemotherapy administration experience.
• Clear and active RN license in Texas (TX).
• Completion of ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment.
