Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1837) s role involves welcoming guests, resolving needs, and driving guest loyalty through service and engagement.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.75 USD per hour

• You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, active role where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key.
• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak times).

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and greeting guests as you complete tasks.
• Assist guests in-person and with store services, including checkout, guest services, and pickup/delivery options.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Scan, bag, and handle merchandise efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Engage with guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed; understand wallet and Target App features.
• Handle returns following store policies and de-escalate situations when needed.
• Support Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests with accurate and easy service.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards; support cash office processes as needed.

• Effective communication and a welcoming attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Ability to stay focused and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to educate guests about products, services, and store offerings.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts to meet store needs.
