Role DescriptionForm Energy is hiring a Project Manager to drive custom manufacturing equipment and assembly line utility/equipment installations. This role reports to our Senior Manager of Tool Installation. As part of our Form Factory 1 team, you will contribute to bringing our first factory manufacturing lines into production in partnership with Engineering, Operations and Construction teams. This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 – Form Energy’s 550,000‑square‑foot state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose‑built for high‑volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast‑moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large‑scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt. WhatYou’ll Do
- Assess technical requirements for equipment installation, including specifications, drawings, and technical documentation and provide technical guidance to the installation team and troubleshoot technical issues during the installation process.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, spend tracking, contractor scope of work, installation manuals, spare parts inventory, and as‑built drawings.
- Provide and present regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.
- Support execution of in‑the‑field activities that include but are not limited to layout, rigging, electrical, mechanical installation.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Coordinate with procurement teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure timely availability of equipment and materials required for installation.
- 4+ years of experience in equipment design, installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling, developing scope of work (SOW), and organization.
- Demonstrated experience in contractor management, technical trades and custom manufacturing equipment installations.
- Ability to operate within standard computer management software (Procore, maintain
X, JIRA, etc) as well as CAD. - Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
