RN - Med Surg

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our client's team in Weirton, WV. As an RN on our Med Surg unit, you will provide direct patient care, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing assessments, and implementing treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in healthcare

• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg or a similar setting
• BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
