Position Overview
WVNCC seeks Part‑Time Temporary Van Driver for TRIO Upward Bound
, to transport students for Saturday College Day and/or Summer Academy. This is a grant funded position. TRIO Upward Bound van drivers are expected to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the Upward Bound participants while riding in the van.
- Transport students in grades 9‑12 from select schools (Toronto, Steubenville, Buckeye Local, Edison, Indian Creek) during Saturday sessions and a five‑week long Summer Academy.
- A valid driver's license is required, as well as van driver training, which will be provided.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students of varying abilities, and who may need encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Position will be up to 15 hours per week; schedule is typically between 7:30‑9:30 am and 3‑6 pm.
CompensationThe pay is $15‑$18 per hour.
