Tax Manager (Boston area candidates only)

My client in Wellesley, MA is seeking a full‑time Tax Manager. This role would require occasional in‑office presence at the Wellesley office, but schedule is flexible.

• Preparation of complex individual, partnership, fiduciary and corporate returns
• Review of individual, partnership, fiduciary and corporate returns
• Tax planning for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses
• Research tax issues and formulate clear and concise conclusions
• Provide innovative tax planning
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Coordinate and manage engagements with staff members
• Communication with other managers and/or partners regarding engagements
• Actively participate in continuing education and professional growth activities
• Contribute to and foster a positive work environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA or EA required
• Targeting 6+ years of experience in a tax consulting/CPA firm, with experience in High Net Worth, Partnerships, or S‑Corps (priority to High Net Worth and Partnerships)
• Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Quick Books and experience with CCH Pro System fx preferred
• Analytical, technical tax and accounting skills
• Ability to deliver excellent, quality client service
• Excellent organizational/project management skills and strong attention to detail
• Deadline‑oriented and results‑driven
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
