Laboratory Assistant

Located in Greater Boston, Mass Bay is a comprehensive, open-access community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part‑time, student employment position with no benefits. This student employee will assist the STEM Laboratory Manager and Safety Compliance Officer and their designee in the operation and maintenance of the biology and chemistry laboratories, and the associated preparation spaces.

• Assist in laboratory maintenance including cleaning, organization, and stocking of supplies; putting up safety signage
• Assist with inventory operations
• Assist in preparing materials for laboratory classes

• Must be a currently enrolled Mass Bay student
• Academically successful/GPA of 2.5 or higher

Salary Range: $19 per hour
