Nail Technician at Bella SantéJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for performing professional nail, hand and foot treatments.Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Discuss nail services and treatments with clients
• Remove and apply neat nail polish
• Exfoliate and remove rough skin from hands and feet
• Clean and trim nails
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies
• Adhere to Bella Santé spa standards, including prep work, cleaning, restocking, and completing Star duty when assigned
• Actively promote spa treatments, services, retail products, and promotions
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Provide accurate and immediate responses to all guest requests
• Properly care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of product
• Have complete knowledge of all services and products

• Be on time for your shift
• Work without direct supervision and contribute to peer accountability
• Maintain a positive attitude and uphold company core values
• Attend and participate in training and staff meetings
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management

Must hold and maintain a current Massachusetts state license.

• Thorough knowledge of nails, including basic hand and foot massage techniques
• Neat application of polish
• Commitment to learn product and service knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Flexible schedule to support spa needs
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Basic computer knowledge

• Sit for long periods of time
• Repeat same movements
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects
• Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects

Local travel to meetings and training may be required. Performance will be discussed with the Spa Director on a regular basis. If an offer is made, employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a CORI check.
