Want to practice therapy somewhere you actually get to know your patients?

At Advinia Care Newton Wellesley, our residents aren't just names on a caseload. We specialize in long-term care and memory care, giving our therapists the chance to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team — while helping people maintain independence, mobility, and quality of life. Success here isn't always measured by a discharge home; sometimes it's a safer walk to the dining room, fewer falls, or finding the one approach that finally connects with a person living with Alzheimer's or dementia.

We're growing our rehab team and looking for a full-time Physical Therapist who wants to practice differently — one who values specialized dementia rehabilitation, creative clinical problem-solving, and person-centered, function-focused therapy. Applicants wanting part-time are also encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities
  • Assess resident needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement and modify treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
  • Apply function-focused, person-centered approaches to support independence and mobility
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, relationship-based care
  • Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and techniques
  • Monitor and report on resident progress and outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient care records
What We're Looking For

This role is best suited to therapists who value:

  • Relationship-based care
  • Creative clinical problem-solving
  • Maintaining independence and function
  • True interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults
  • Growing their skills in dementia and geriatric rehabilitation
Requirements
  • Current, valid Physical Therapist license
