Pet Vet Care Centers' Wellesley‑Natick Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Veterinary Technician to join their team.

Position Overview- The Veterinary Technician supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to patients and clients.
- Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations, interviews, reviewing care plans, and completing laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Assess patients, take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications, drugs, and vaccines, and bandage wounds.
- Assist with patient examinations and surgical procedures, assembling supplies, restraining patients, and supporting the veterinarian as directed.
- Provide nursing care, administer drugs with full knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and specialized equipment usage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and humane environment: sterilize instruments, disinfect areas, manage supplies, and document controlled drug handling.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update the database promptly.
- Communicate pet owner status updates, perform equipment maintenance, and manage inventory.
- Release pets to owners, ensuring cleanliness and proper grooming.
- Follow all oral and written directions and perform any additional duties assigned by the Manager or practice.
- At least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience.
- 2 or more years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, or LVMT). Equivalent education, training, and experience may also be considered.
- Full‑Time, Day shift (preferably 40 hours per week)
- Monday through Friday from 8 am–5 pm

Pay Range: $21 – $25 USD
