Full-Time Veterinary Assistant

Boston Veterinary Clinic – Wellesley, MA

$20–$23/hour | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Shifts | One Saturday per Month

Schedule & Compensation

• Full‑time: 40 hours/week
• Four 10‑hour shifts
• $20–$23/hour , based on experience and skill level
• At least one Saturday per month
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM every other Saturday
• Closed Sundays

We are a full‑service primary care practice providing care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets . As a Fear Free Certified® and Cat Friendly Certified® practice , we place a strong emphasis on creating a calm, positive experience for both our patients and their people.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already has veterinary medicine experience and is comfortable with the fundamentals of a Veterinary Assistant role.

Ideally, you have experience with:

• Anesthesia and/or sedation
• Surgical and dental support
• Fear Free or low‑stress handling
• Client communication
• Basic veterinary terminology and patient care

Experience with anesthesia and sedation is especially valuable because we work with many fearful, anxious, and stressed patients who benefit from thoughtful, low‑stress handling and sedation when appropriate.
