The Role You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a broad range of businesses. Working closely with managers and junior team members, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent client experience while supporting the development of colleagues.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Prepare management accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns. Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements. Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships. Review work completed by junior team members, providing guidance and support.
Liaise with auditors and other professional advisers to ensure deadlines are met. Identify opportunities to add value through business advice and additional services. About You You'll ideally have: ACCA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice. Strong experience preparing statutory and management accounts.
Experience with corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns. Working knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or Quick Books. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. A proactive approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service. What's on Offer? £35,000 £ 40,000 salary , depending on experience.
