North West London Salary: £25,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking an organised and motivated Graduate Document Controller to join our growing team based in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin their career in document control, administration, and project support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance requirements, and providing administrative assistance to project and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities Maintain document control processes in line with company procedures and project requirements. Collate, distribute, track and file internal and external documentation. Manage document numbering, revisions, version control and issue registers. Ensure project records and documentation are accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible. Compile and issue handover documentation, ensuring all records are completed to the required standard. Monitor and maintain project and site documentation.
Manage and update competency and compliance databases. File and monitor periodic safety and compliance documentation. Assist with preparing employee records, onboarding documentation and inductions. Coordinate and manage the induction process for new starters. Assist with wage submissions and general administrative duties. Provide administrative support to project and commercial teams as required. Respond to documentation requests and ensure information is issued in a timely manner.
Support the continuous improvement of document management processes. Skills & Experience Essential Degree educated or equivalent qualification. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Professional and proactive approach to work. Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
Desirable Previous administrative experience through work placements, internships or part-time employment. Experience using document management systems. An understanding of document control and record management processes. Personal Qualities Highly organised and methodical. Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Keen to develop a long-term career within project support and document control.
