General Practitioner

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join ourhealthcare teamsat HMP Five Wellsa category CPrison located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The site supports around 1800 patients the majority of whom are aged between 30-39. However the site also have a cohort of elderly patients who will need support with long term conditions, because of this the role would suit a GP who enjoys delivering end to end care.

HMP Five Wells is a state of the art prison offering a modern clinical environment and facilities, you will be working closely with a large multi-disciplinary team, as well as working alongside another General Practitioner.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 8.30am-5pm

This is a part time role working 8 hours, or one day a week

We can offer flexibility on which day is worked.

Youll receive an annual salary up to£129,500per annum FTE - depending on experience

Requirements

• MBChB or MBBS
• Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
• Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
• Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
