We are seeking to appoint a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in the Wellingborough/Rushden area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in teaching or education, or for an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a full‑time role.

The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short‑term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and follow the work set.

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
• Providing feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour
• Supporting the wider school community as required

• Have experience working with young people (education experience desirable)
• Be confident managing classroom behaviour
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Be flexible, proactive, and professional
• Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
