Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment based in Wellingborough. The role offers long‑term stability, training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site machinery
- Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns and fault‑find efficiently
- Work on a range of production and automated equipment
- Support continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
- Assist with mechanical maintenance when required
- Apprentice trained or qualified Electrical Engineer
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments
- Strong electrical fault‑finding abilities
- Experience with motors, sensors, conveyors, inverters, PLCs or automation equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Shift Pattern: Days
