Sheffield Are you finishing a degree in geology, geoscience, or geotechnical engineering and looking to begin your career in site investigation? A respected consultancy close to Sheffield is seeking a motivated Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join its expanding team.
This role offers a supportive environment where you can develop practical skills and long-term career prospects. This Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position provides:
Starting salary of £26,000 - £28,000 Structured training with guidance from experienced professionals Ongoing CPD and networking opportunities Clear progression into more senior roles A balance of fieldwork and office-based tasks Pension scheme and additional company benefits As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience both on-site and in the office. Key duties include:
Assisting with ground investigations and fieldwork Supporting drilling operations and site supervision Logging soil and rock samples accurately Recording environmental and geotechnical data Helping prepare technical and interpretative reports The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role is designed to build your technical confidence while working within a collaborative team. To be considered for this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer opportunity, you should:
