An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join a successful and growing business based in Wellingborough. Created as part of the company's continued expansion, this newly established role offers a salary of up to £65,000.

As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for optimising inventory across multiple locations, ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will balance customer demand, inventory investment and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Role responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager include:

Manage inventory levels, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment to maximise product availability while minimising excess stock.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, monitoring supplier performance and proactively managing supply risks and delivery issues.
Coordinate inbound deliveries, warehouse stock transfers, and logistics activities to ensure efficient product flow across the business.
Raise purchase orders, manage supplier order books, and maintain accurate product, supplier and pricing data within company systems.
Produce inventory and supply chain reports, providing insights to support business planning and operational decision-making.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, inventory accuracy and overall operational performance.
Person Specification of the Supply Chain Manager:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with Excel proficiency and the ability to interpret data to support commercial decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships and influence colleagues, suppliers and customers at all levels.
Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused, with the ability to work under pressure, solve problems and adapt to changing business needs.
Customer-focused and collaborative, demonstrating professionalism, accountability and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver outstanding results.
