12070– 35-hour Trainee Counter Assistant – Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 35-hour Trainee Counter Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 731-branch located at Mannock Medical Centre, Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough, NN8 1LT
.

The proposed shift pattern is as follows:

Monday 09:00 – 17:00 (one-hour unpaid break)

Tuesday 09:00 – 17:00 (one-hour unpaid break)

Wednesday 09:00 – 17:00 (one-hour unpaid break)

Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 (one-hour unpaid break)

Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (one-hour unpaid break)

As a Trainee Pharmacy Counter Assistant you will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist and you will assist customers with the sale of over-the-counter medicines, offering advice on the provision of information, symptoms and products as well promoting the additional services that our branch offers. You will also be tasked with replenishing stock and supporting the pharmacy team.

The role would ideally suit someone with previous customer service experience. The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role. You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
