About Us

Support North Northants is a VCSE-led community wellbeing service. Our motto is simple: we don't give up on people. We bring together voluntary, statutory and private sector partners to ensure vulnerable people get the right support, first time - and only have to tell their story once.

The Role

You'll lead and support a small team of Community Link Workers within your locality, combining operational leadership with hands-on case management. Working across the VCSE sector, statutory services and Crisis Resilience Fund partners, you'll coordinate integrated support that helps people improve their wellbeing and build long-term resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of Community Link Workers to deliver joined-up, timely support
  • Carrying out person-centred, holistic conversations by phone or in person
  • Developing outcomes-focused support plans and providing practical support
  • Building relationships with statutory and voluntary sector partners
  • Updating, maintaining and quality checking records
  • Identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns
  • Raising the profile of the service and identifying local gaps to inform planning
  • Delivering supervision, 1:1s and case management for complex cases
About You
  • Several years' experience in a casework-style role, ideally with line management (or ready for your first step into managing others)
  • Understanding of the barriers faced by adults at risk in North Northants
  • Experience working with statutory and voluntary partners to problem-solve jointly
  • Experience across a full range of community needs
  • Leadership of a small team alongside flexible team working
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)

Committed to EDI and trauma-informed practice
