HGV 1 Tanker Driver – Nights

Abbey Logistics is recruiting professional HGV 1 Tanker Drivers for its Wellingborough depot. The role involves safely transporting bulk powder products across the UK, with occasional European work where required. Full training will be provided.

Location: Wellingborough Depot
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off
Start Times: Afternoon shifts (15:00‑18:00)

Basic Pay: £43,668.00 per year + Overtime
Overtime: Paid daily after 9.6 hours at £19.88 ph
Double time: On Good Friday, Easter Monday, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.

• Provide excellent customer service as Abbey Logistics representative.

• Full LGV C+E (Class
  1) licence.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Tanker experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Professional attitude with strong focus on safety and compliance.
