A close‑knit, small accountancy practice based in Wellington is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team. The firm works with a diverse client base including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across various industries, with turnover ranging from very small to multi‑million‑pound businesses.

• Preparation and review of year‑end accounts for a wide range of clients
• Personal and corporate tax compliance, including VAT oversight
• Bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll service provision
• Client management and development of relationships across varied industry sectors
• Collaboration with directors to support growth and career progression

• Qualified or currently a part/finalist in AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or similar
• Experience in general accountancy practice delivering services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Proven track record at a Senior Accountant level or equivalent
• Strong internal controls and attention to regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with accountancy software – experience with SAGE, Xero, Quick Books, Free Agent or similar deemed an asset

£30,000 – £38,000, dependent on experience and qualification, plus benefits (negotiable).
