SEND Teacher

Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The schools are looking to take on SEND Teachers on a full and part-time basis. The successful SEND teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 19yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

- QTS

- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically SEMH,ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD

- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
