Daily Pay Rate: (Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only), 8:30 - 15:45
Start Date: September 1st 2026
Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures is looking for a confident and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school in South Telford.
You'll work across the school supporting neurodiverse children, including pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. This is a varied role where you'll support different children regularly, both 1:1 and within the classroom, helping them regulate emotions, engage with learning and make positive choices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs
- Follow individual EHCPs and behaviour support plans
- Use positive behaviour and de-escalation strategies
- Build trusted, consistent relationships with pupils
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Has experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour.
- We particularly welcome applicants from youth work, SEMH, SEN, mentoring, alternative provision or behaviour support backgrounds
- Resilient, patient and confident in your approach
