The OpportunityLong Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ketley from September 2026.
This is a full-time role supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers and SLT to provide tailored support for children with a range of additional needs.
The school is committed to delivering an inclusive education where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Support children with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Deliver targeted interventions linked to EHCP outcomes and individual learning plans
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual pupil needs
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and social development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, parents, and external professionals
- Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary or specialist setting
- Experience working with pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
- Good understanding of Autism (ASD), ADHD, and additional learning needs
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
