Data Engineer - SC Cleared

6+ Month Contract 400- 450 per day Inside IR35
Remote West Midlands / West Sussex Twice a Month onsite

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a major UK public sector programme, helping deliver secure, modern data platforms that support digital transformation and emerging AI capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile programme where you'll play a key role in building reliable data solutions and enabling high-quality data products.

You'll be responsible for:

• Building, enhancing and supporting robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and curation
• Developing secure, reliable and high-performing data integration solutions
• Working closely with product teams, engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products
• Contributing to engineering standards, best practice and continuous improvement
• Working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams across a large-scale public sector environment

We're looking for strong experience in:

• SQL and data modelling
• Talend and Pentaho BA
• Oracle databases
• AWS cloud technologies
• Data integration, transformation and orchestration
• Version control and modern engineering practices
• Building and supporting secure, scalable data platforms

Active SC Clearance is essential.

• Duration: 6+ months
• Rate: 400- 450 per day
• IR35: Inside IR35
• Location: West Midlands or West Sussex
• Working Pattern: Remote/hybrid, with onsite attendance approximately twice per month
