Test Team Leader

Overview

Orion Electrotech is exclusively partnering with Industrial Physics (IP) — a global powerhouse of innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers redefining the future of test and measurement solutions
. IP is recruiting for ambitious team leaders for our Assembly and Test teams in Telford as we consolidate manufacturing activities from two locations in the UK and Netherlands and create a new team in a newly refurbished facility adjacent to our existing premises. The facility will assemble, test and service precision instruments used in gas, beverage, and other industries to provide quality assurance to customers.

• Provide daily frontline leadership to the test team.
• Coordinate direct reports activities with the rest of operations and create plans for the test of production instruments.
• Coordinate test schedule, training and coordinating staff.
• Hands on testing is also required for this position.
• Support recruitment and training of the new team members, and work through many aspects related to the set-up of the new facility.

This will be an exciting journey for a Test Team Leader and success will require a person who is open to continually learning, with an ability to work through new challenges independently as they develop, supported by their peers and manager.
