Assembly Operative / Mechanical Assembler (12 Months contract)
Location:
Wellington / Duration: 12 Months / Pay Rate: £14 p/h /
Hours:
Monday to Friday, Full Time
We are currently looking for a reliable and hands‑on Assembly Operative to support our client during a particularly busy period. This is a 12-month contract due to increased workload.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the mechanical assembly of conveyor systems
- Work from engineering drawings and instructions
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical skills to complete assembly tasks
- Support engineers during the build process
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical fitting
- Ability to use hand tools confidently
- Experience working from drawings would be an advantage
- Reliable and practical person with a good work ethic
- Ideally based locally to Wellington
- 12-month contract
- Full-time Monday to Friday hours
- Opportunity to work on a large build project
