Per Diem opportunity for an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL!!

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist to provide per diem coverage at Wellington Regional Medical Center .

• Staffing Model :
  • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
  • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
  • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
• Responsibilities :
  • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care

WRMC is a 233-bed acute care hospital serving western Palm Beach County. It offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU , with a focus on:

• Evidence-based protocols
• Neonatologist-attended high-risk deliveries
• Specialized care for 23â“30 week premature infants

• Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
• Active FL license or IMLC required
