Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital, owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Wellington Regional is committed to providing high quality healthcare and professional growth in a compassionate, team-based environment. This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week with a schedule of Tuesday – Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

ResponsibilitiesThe CT technologist delivers Computed Tomography testing to patients of all age groups under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Department Manager. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures (including localization for biopsy, aspiration and/or drainage procedures) to demonstrate anatomy and/or obtain specimens for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services, maintain ethical conduct, and provide appropriate patient care.
Be available for on-call duties and prepared to arrive at the facility within thirty minutes of notification. Be capable of cross-training and floating to other areas as needed, and assist in the cross-training and orientation of others as requested. Recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, initiate stroke alert procedures, ensure immediate availability of CT scanner for Head CT of stroke alert patients, and communicate results to the Radiologist upon completion.
Maintain current stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.

- ARRT registry in CT must be provided within 1 year
