Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate is professional, client-focused, and skilled in therapeutic massage techniques to promote relaxation, recovery, and overall well‑being. This role requires a strong understanding of the human body and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform customized massage therapy sessions based on client needs and health history
• Maintain accurate client intake forms, SOAP notes, and treatment plans
• Educate clients on post‑treatment care, stretching, and wellness recommendations
• Uphold all sanitation, safety, and professional standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and calming treatment room
• Collaborate with team members to support a positive wellness environment
• Adhere to state licensing laws and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid State Massage Therapy License (active and in good standing)
• Liability insurance (this is a contractor role)
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in three or more of the following modalities:
• Deep Tissue
• Swedish
• Sports Massage
• Stretch Therapy
• Lymphatic Drainage
• Prenatal / Postoperative
• Experience working in a spa, wellness, or fitness‑based environment
• CPR/First Aid certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
• Ability to apply varying levels of pressure safely and effectively
