RN PACU Per Diem Days – Wellington Regional Medical Center
Join our team as a registered nurse (RN) in a per diem day shift PACU role at Wellington Regional Medical Center, located in Wellington, Florida.
ResponsibilitiesProvide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
Recognize signs and symptoms of stroke and initiate stroke alert procedures, including verbalizing stroke alert, performing NIHSS, and documenting stroke alert processes.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and maintain patient‑centered care principles.
Assist with postoperative patients, manage PACU care, and coordinate with surgical teams as needed.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
- Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in acute care setting.
- Current Florida nursing license.
- BLS (current upon hire).
- ACLS (current upon hire).
- PALS (within 3 months of hire).
- Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
