Clinical Supervisor MICU-Day Shift

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, is a 235‑bed acute care hospital owned by Universal Health Services, Inc. The Clinical Supervisor will lead the ICU daytime shift as a full‑time (36 hours per week) position with a flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits.

• Plan and provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners during the ICU day shift.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team members and direct staff to achieve safe, optimal health‐care outcomes.
• Support activities that align with the facility’s vision, mission, and goals.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing patient‐centered care and service excellence.
• Respond to and lead stroke alert protocols: assess NIHSS, perform bedside swallow, coordinate telemedicine consults, evaluate thrombolytic therapy criteria, and manage patient preparation for endovascular treatment.
• Maintain current knowledge of stroke care through annual training and documentation of stroke‐related competencies.

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum of one year full‑time (or three years part‑time) acute‑care nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Successful completion of any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
