Per Diem NNP - Level III and Newborn Nursery - 12-Hour Shifts

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Per Diem
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP),
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic team at
Wellington Regional Medical Center
. This is a unique opportunity to support both our
Newborn Nursery and expanding
Level III NICU
, while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida’s most desirable communities.

• Schedule
  : 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
• Staffing Model
  :
  • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
  • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
  • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
• Responsibilities
  :
  • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
