This is a varied, hands-on role
, combining adviser support and administration with technical financial planning work. It would suit someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the advice process and taking ownership.

  • Liaise with clients, providers and third parties.

  • Support client servicing and ongoing reviews.
  • Carry out pension and investment research.
  • Prepare suitability reports and financial planning documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant client records.
  • Track outstanding tasks and deadlines.
  • Take ownership and provide proactive support.
  • Assist with ad hoc technical and administrative work.
You’ll ideally have:
  • Previous experience within an IFA or financial planning practice - essential.
  • Experience as a Senior IFA Administrator, Financial Planning Administrator, Adviser Support professional or Administrator/Paraplanner.
  • A good understanding of the financial advice process.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Good technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
  • Some experience of Paraplanning, technical research and/or suitability reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A confident, professional manner with clients and providers.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to get involved.
What’s on offer
  • £35,000-£42,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working considered.
  • Close working relationship with a director and the opportunity to become a key part of the business.
  • A broad role combining administration, adviser support and technical financial planning.
  • A friendly, established financial planning environment.
