Band 5 Occupational Therapist -- Community Rehabilitation Service (CRS), Mendip

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to carry out specific therapy assessments which will include goal setting and treatment planning, assessing risk, promoting and enabling independent functioning. You will be committed to a person-centered approach to your work, have an ability to prioritise and work flexibly. Working alongside our provider teams and rehabilitation practitioners.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Degree/diploma level education leading to Registration by the Health Professions Council (UK) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio.

  • Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists
  • Post graduate accredited course in Care / rehabilitation of the Elderly and/or other relevant post graduate courses.
Experience
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in working in a community setting.
  • Experience of lone working
Additional Criteria
  • Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
